Cheers Jack... You should have been there. It was exciting stuff. Saturday 21/11/09The Comp! Really pleased with my results. My final position was a total shock. Really shows that CF works. Sunday 22/11/09Rested. Didn't feel to bad to be honest.. Shoulders hurt but i think that was from Danny's massage.. Then did 100 swings (normal ones) with my 28kg kb. I do this as a grip exercise more than anything else. Trying to work up to doing all 100 in one go. Had to split it 65/35 with a 30 second break (it might have been longer, i wasn't counting). Aim for 70/30 next time.. Some more Fu action in the evening. Lots stance work, some forms and then some forearm conditioning..

Warm-up:
4 lengths 1 length walking lunges 10 tuck jumps x 3
Box jumps practise and then some technique work on those club things.
Metcon
1 minutes RH club swipes 10kg 1 minutes LH club swipes 10kg 2 minutes box jumps 2 minutes burpees x3
Club swipe things were alright - going to take a while to get used to these. Box jumps felt good but it made for horrible burpees afterwards.

One more week left of this programme. I don't think i'll be able to bang out 100 press ups by the end of it but it's definatly helped. I put that extra round of cindy down to doing this. It is boring though! Will do something more interesting tomorrow..

In the works gym for something more interesting than sit-ups, press-ups and squats. Did todays WOD from the FK.UK site.
Snatch Drop 3x2 I wasn't sure i was meant to be using weight here or not. Did the first set with the bar only and the next two sets with 10s on either side.
Deadlift 3x8 90kg x 8 100kg x 8 110kg x 8
This was alright. Found the 110 harder than i thought i would
Death by Burpee As good as it sounds. Missed the 15th minute by seconds. Disappointed but still lots of burpee fun. 120 in all.
Meant to finish off with muscle up progressions but didn't have anywhere high enough so just banged out 3 sets of max rep pull-ups - 8,5,4
BAM!

Lunch time session at work. Did a WOD off the mainsite.
400m walking lunges - 15:20. I think it must have been about 360 walking lunges in all. Was loving this!
Then did some ring stuff. 21-15-9 body weight rows with 10 ring dips after each set. Harder than it sounds.

*New one rep max! Tried 60kg on the next one but failed. Went back to 57.5.kg. **Failed. Only managed 4 reps. Really happy with the new 1rm. It went up really easy as well. Loving the progress at the moment. Push Presses went well. Push Jerks were messy.

This is one of those WODs I've seen but never had the balls to try, so i was pleased to see this up on the board... sort of. Went at a pretty slow pace cos i didn't want to burn out to early. Press-ups and squats weren't to bad. Pull-ups are still a problem.
