how to get rid of love handles.
I`m not gonna pretend that this is my knowledge, and that I came up with it.
So here is the blog from my tutor.
Insulin is a hormone released by the pancreas to regulate glucose storage in the liver and speeds up the oxidation of sugar in your cells. This basically means if the body consumes too much sugar insulin will be released to lower blood sugar levels and stores this increase in sugar into energy. When this energy is not used it will be stored as fat.
When the body consumes too much sugar in the absence of proteins and fats for sustained periods of time the body will push excess fat to the cells surrounding the supra illiac (Poliquin at a biosignature seminar, 2009)
Insulin Protocol
Super Supplemental: 1 Cap with a meal, 2 times daily
Omega-3 EPA: 2 caps with a meal, 3 times daily
Zinc: 1 cap daily with a meal
Chromium GFT: 1 cap daily with a meal
Supplements explained
Super Supplemental: It is almost impossible to drop body fat if your body can’t cope with the toxins that will be released from the fat cells. The super supplemental helps the body cope and fluch out these toxins better.
Omega-3 EPA: In my experience fish oils have a huge impact on insulin regulation.
Food Sources: All oily fish especially salmon, herring and mackerel. You should poach or grill these fish choices at least twice per week.
Zinc: Is needed to produce insulin and helps to balance hormones associated with insulin sensitivity.
Food sources: Oysters are the king zinc providers.
Chromium: Is a compound found in the liver that helps transport glucose from the blood to the cells (5) thus positively affective insulin sensitivity.
Food sources: Pulses, nuts, seeds, mushrooms and asparagus.
I am on this protocol at the moment, this is my 4 week, and i can tell difference. You have to combine it with a paleo diet, but i`m sure you are on it anyway, being a cross-fitters.
