Went to Crossfit Reading for the first time with Mister C. Did some pull up work to start with, negative reps etc. Then a scaled down version of "Kelly". Should be 5 rounds, but we did 3.
400 metre run 30 x Box Jumps (24 inch) 30 Wall Ball (9kg Med Ball) X3 17:16
Finished with some push up work in the same vein as the pull up work at the beginning. Really enjoyed this session, looking forward to the next one.

Few rounds of skipping to warm up 8 x 3 minute rounds heavy bag. First time for ages I've done 3 minute rounds, and it showed. Really hard work.

19:47 New PB, beat previous by 2:12!

Press ups (rest at top of movement) Med Ball Slam (10kg MB, rest at top of movement) Squats (Rest at bottom of movement :wacko: ) DB Swings (24kg DB, Do not put weight down)

Tonights workout inspired by "Fight Gone Bad"
Wall Ball 10kg Med Ball Sumo Deadlift High Pull 26kg BB Box Jump 20 inch box Push/Press 26kg BB Sprint Skipping 60 seconds of each exercise, 60 seconds rest, 3 rounds. This was ace tonight, really gave it a good go, lovely to be out in the sun too!

Deck Of Cards Spades = Burpees Clubs = Med Ball Slams (10kg Med Ball) Diamonds = Squats Hearts = Press Ups Picture cards are 10, aces are 11.
This is hard work, especially as the spades' picture cards, were appearing towards the end!

V Ups x 15 Press Ups x 10 Squats x 20 X3 Bear Crawl 25 yards, crab walk back 25 yards X2 5 x Burpees 10 x Press Ups X4 Knee Huggers x 20 Chinnies x 20 Hip Swings x 20 X3
Lovely one this, felt like I had had my triceps blowtorched after the crab walks!

27.4.08 Went to MIster C's for some early morning shenanigans: P1: 5 renegade man-makers (10kg DBs) P2: Knees-to-elbows or med ball planks until P1 is done 7 rounds - 14 minutes 20 seconds.
Notes: I didn't do many KTE as I couldn't quite get the technique right! Good fun though!

28.4.08 Went to Crossfit Reading again. WOD was: 20 KB Swings 10/10 20 KB Thrusters 10/10 20 KB Snatches 10/10 20 Box Jumps 20 Sit Ups 21 Lengths Hall (400 meters) 3 Rounds - used 12kg KB and 24" box. 22:32
Finished with some rope climbing and some handstand practise. Great session, very enjoyable.
