Hi all,
Name is Tom - came across Crossfit when gazing at Gareth Dood's pictures on facebook - been looking at the main site and will be embarking on this form of training starting tomorrow.
Currently in the military but based at Ramstein in Germany. Know Dood's through RAF Athletics. Plan to be over in the UK in late June so may just venture down to Reading to try a workout or 2.

Cheers guys - massively out of shape - former international level javelin thrower, who in my prime was just under 15 stone and 8% bf, now through laziness, babies (the wife's of course) and retiring from athletics I have put on a fair bit of pork (not of the good sort).
Lifting bests of 160k bench, 110k snatch, 145k clean, 160k press, 260k squat, 250k deadlift - but know where near those totals now - should be an interesting journey!!

Welcome mate. Isn't there a Crossfit Rammstein affiliate?

Thanks guys and Lady - Ramstein affiliate is no longer but there are a few other Crossfitters in the gym - much fitter than me though, saw one crack through a session of thrusters, pull ups and burpees, 150 of each!!
Early days for me though as just getting back into it after a fairly long lay off - currently doing the BrandX Crossfit Puppy workouts.
If I get a chance will certainly come down to Reading and try a session with you guys.
