So my first time back for a Crossfit session in over 2 years, wasnt sure what to expect in terms of my fitness as I have been doing the Crossbox twice a week for about a year.
Started with some strict press; 5 Rep Max managed 60kg (x5 to get to max) then on to some Deadlifts; 3 Rep Max Mangegd 140kg (x5 to get to max)
Then onto the WOD
10x KB Swing 10x Burpee 10x Box Jump
9x KB Swing 9x Burpee 9x Box Jump
8x KB Swing 8x Burpee 8x Box Jump
And so on all the way down to 1
Managed this in 8.14 using a 20kg KB
all in all an enjoyable workout.

Friday 25th Crossbox.
Saturday 26th attempt 2 of the Crossfit Games WOD. beat my previous score of 1 round 22 DU's with 2 rounds and 1 DU.

Wednesday 30th,
My first early morning session at the box, warm up consisted of
30 Skips 15 Squats 10 Push Ups for 3 rounds
Then for the WOD (Badger)
3 rounds of 30 Squat Jerks (40KG) 30 Pull Ups 800m Run
I had to scale this back to 2 rounds and do ring dips rather than pull ups. bit disapointing really, but I guess its still early days.

Don't knock it mate - that is a brutal WOD - everyone starts on scaled versions - guarantee you'll be doing the fuill version very soon!

Crossbox with Alex, superb session, due to uneven numbers I got extra rounds of boxing - happy days.

Saturday Morning Session for WOD2 of the games
15 minutes AMRAP:
9 DL @ 70kg 12 PUsh Ups 15 Box Jumps @ 24"
8 Rounds 9DL and 1 PU
Must admit I surprised myself, going into this wod I was hoping for 6 rounds.
