Thursday: Another running WOD - 200m, 10 dips, 200m, 15 dips, 200m, 20 dirps, 200m 15 dips, 200m, 10 dips, DONE. Tough one. I got confused and didn't realise I needed to do one more set of dips so my time was 8 minutes instead of about 7 - oh well! Need to work on my counting skills

Monday Madness: WOD - nothing like a bit of teamwork to get the week starting off right! 200m partner carry 100 toes to bar 100 chest to par pullups 100 box jumps 100 overhead squats 200m partner carry You had to split the workload between you and your partner to equal the 100 reps of each. 50/50 for me and Adrienne! This was AWESOME fun, especially the partner carry, don't think my guts will ever be the same! I know I posted that I have started doing WODs with full pullups, but tonight I REALLY got the kip properly - I felt like I could do it forever! And then I ripped my hand open. But it was worth it - I know that I can kip with the big dogs now Off to buy some super glue to fix my flapper - can't wait til Wednesday! and the GAMES...dun dun duuuunnnn!!!!

Wednesday WOD: Karen and Annie - back to back This was awesome - I had to do Karen first because there were too many people there so I do wonder if it would make a difference if I did Annie first... Finished Karen in 8.30 and Annie in 8.13 First WOD where I did all the double unders without cheating and doing singles! Get in!

Friday Morning:
Deadlift 3X3 - 80kg, 90kg, 90kg
AMRAP 20 min of: 200m run 15 knees to elbows 30 sumo deadlift high pull
I started doing the SDLH with only 20kg, and then we realised it should have been 30, so finished my rounds with that. Grip always goes when doing toes to bar/k2e etc.
Got five rounds even in - not too shabby, but didn't kill myself cause I'll be woding it up all day tomorrow at the expo in Birmingham!

Saturday - Body Power expo This was an awesome day! We did two team workouts: 1. Team Fran: 150 thrusters (30kg) and 150 pullups between three of us. 2. 5 Ground to Overhead (40kg) and 5 burpees AMRAP in 10 minutes - four of us were doing this one - it was awesome and a killer! Then we did some snatch work with Sunny Brar - YORK sponsored Oly lifter who was amazing at the split jerk (she only weighs 63kg and she was split jerking 105kg!!!) Then a one hand deadlift-off this was my time to shine! got a new pb of 105kg and nearly got 110, but I was shattered from the rest of the days work, so didn't quite get it all the way up. Showed some muscly men up too - it was great

Monday: First day of the last full week of traning before the GAMES!!! DUn dun duuunnnnn Tonight saw the same team workout from Saturday (G2O and burpees). This was tough and I could really feel the fatigue in my shoulders from the weekend, but we managed to get 8 rounds each in 10 minutes - not ideal, but not too shabby either. I did some kipping practice at the end just to finish my arms off proper Got a full week of training ahead so will be taking Tuesday off to rest and then busting through the rest of the week with a focus on the skills required for the GAMES workouts - handstand pushups, muscle ups, OHS (my weakness for sure) etc. Bring it on!

Pre-Games workouts: Wednesday - tekkers work with Caz on muscle ups, kipping, toes to bar, thrusters and various other bits and pieces. Two hours of this and I was knackered and starving! I am not too far off a muscle up though Thursday night - deadlift work: I wanted to get a feel for the deadlift workout for the games - so I just did the 21 - 15- 9 reps at 82.5kg - it was freaking hard! I had to spend the evening on my foam roller to keep my back and butt from spasming out on me. It's gonna be tough, but I can do it! Friday - Run today for me. Going to do a few laps in Palmer park to loosen things up.
